Many applications require flat and uniform heating. Our flat thick-film heating elements combine these properties with a short heating time. Additionally, our plane heating elements have another notable advantage: The heat is generated directly at the surface. There is only a thin glass ceramic layer between the heating element and the goods to be heated, so they benefit from radiant and contact heat during heating.
Possible materials for flat thick-film heating elements are ceramics and steel. Both materials offer the advantage that almost every geometry is possible. Do you need a circular heating element? Or an octagonal heating element with holes? We can react to your desired geometry and thus develop an optimal solution for you. Consequently, the heating elements can be used, for example, for de-icing, as a heating plate or for keeping surfaces warm.
The largest possible substrates have dimensions of 200 x 200 x 5 mm (L x W x H). However, several heating elements can also be combined if you want to heat a larger area.
